Petra Tou Romiou (Aphrodites Rock)

Pafos, or Paphos as it is traditionally known, has so much to offer to all visitors, from its peaceful and relaxed tavernas where you can enjoy a leisurely traditional 'Meze' consisting of many courses of Greek and Cypriot dishes, to its outdoor cafes and typically friendly, sociable and, if you wish, vibrant nightlife.

In the daytime, the beaches offer a place to unwind, or you may prefer to visit the harbour for a long lunch, followed by a browse around the shops.

The old town of Pafos is well worth a visit.  Whilst within walking distance for those who so wish, this is perhaps best visited using the local, reliable bus service.  The variety of shops on offer are amazing and the market and its surrounding narrow streets of small shops has its own uniqueness.
